The Letter "K"

[Retrieved from The Letter "K" from Faintest Reality]

Yes, the letter "K", the letter with lots of meanings known to Internet man. It could be short for "okay/ok", a letter form of agreement/acknowledgment, the 11th letter in the Roman alphabet, and people's favorite word and/or letter. If you've been alive for the past 10 or so years, you'll notice in text messages and/or instant messages people sometimes reply "k" as if that's their letter or something... sometimes, people use it a little out-of-context such as a question to them they don't understand or an annoying form of agreement as stated before. It kind of annoys me how so many people on the Internet type this letter all by itself; they're too lazy to type an extra O or adding an "ay" to the end (I mean no offense to anyone, just speaking my mind) and actually be intelligent with their writing. Foreigners are a bold example of this letter usage. For instance, you're talking to someone from another country who doesn't speak too good of English and you ask them a question. About... roughly 45% they will reply with 'k' just to avoid such a question or they don't know how to answer. It would be a lot better if they actually inquired what you ask and/or state to avoid awkwardness and annoyance. I hardly use "k" because I usually say "okay" and "kay" because I'm phosisticated like that. Oh yeah, I make up my own words. =)

So, yeah. People should really start being more efficient in their typing and not replying with a single letter. It'd be better to form actual words to agree with other than "K". Yay.
